New trader centric automation empowers recycling traders with enhanced insights and tools to trade smarter with greater efficiency. Theme 1: Delivering sustainable cities and communities with the new AMCS Platform for Municipalities
The AMCS Platform for Municipalities streamlines operations for waste and recycling services through automation and digitization, enhancing operational efficiency, customer service, and sustainability.
The solution can be viewed in three discrete but connected areas (Service Definition/Onboarding, Service Delivery (Logistics) and Service Management, with the Spring Release focusing on delivering functionality in the first two areas.

New automation of inventory (parts) management is designed to ensure that Fleet Managers have accurate inventory parts data, thus avoiding overstocking or understocking parts, leading to cost savings as parts inventory can sometimes tie up excessive cash. The solution includes a new cycle counting solution.
A new safety feature automatically creates a follow-up action to check lugs after any work order on AMCS Fleet Maintenance that involved wheel removal.
We’re tracking everything. Our PM (preventive maintenance) schedules for each individual asset, who reported what problems and when, how much equipment we need for any given flight, and a lot more. It’s all helping us make huge improvements to our day-to-day operations.
We enhance safety and provide opportunities for driver coaching. Our AI module allows transport staff to view and manage safety exceptions, overfills, and contamination events, reducing insurance claim payouts.
Get live visibility on your fleet with real-time tracking and alerts for key events such as speeding, harsh driving, and engine fault codes. Our module identifies deviations from planned routes and visualizes hazardous collection events, enhancing safety and efficiency.

Theme 3: Recycling – Trade Smarter and accelerate order to cash with trader centric order management and fulfilment.
This release places the needs of the recycling commodity trader at the center of new automation processes designed to support smarter trading, which is more intuitive and efficient.
This concept of trader centric design empowers the trader in the key tasks of order management and fulfilment, and it will increase trading margin, reduce administration time, and accelerate the order to cash process by allowing the rapid identification and resolution of any points of delay on order fulfilment and invoicing.
This feature allows a recycling operator to import stock take information from the yard and with use of templates they can verify it with Platform stored data and adjust where there are discrepancies.
Thresholds can be configured for both price and weight tolerances with a supporting approval workflow process.
Our new design gives traders immediate access to essential data and tools for efficient daily trading operations, fostering intuitive trading and smarter decisions.
Conduct all order transaction types (buy, sell, and brokerage) from our single Order Management hub, providing critical information at your fingertips for efficient, profitable trading.
Manage all order fulfilment steps from our single hub to optimize the order-to-cash cycle, eliminating delays or blockages.
Track weighing confirmations due for outbound load sales and make controlled adjustments to prices and weights for timely order completion and invoicing.
Automate inventory cycle counting via file imports and adjustment of discrepancies for accurate, up-to-date valuations, enabling smarter trading decisions. This efficient process allows for frequent stock takes to keep traders updated on available stocks and locations.
Theme 4 Modern Experience & Sustainability – Design for a Better Future
Quentic’s latest plan is to execute new technical solutions for the modern experience. This comprehensive plan involves multiple phases to ensure this transformation executes successfully.
These include:
- Technical foundation: Adopting new technologies in line with market developments
- Updating the user interface: Improve usability based on user experience research
- Module migration: New technologies and improved functionality are gradually introduced to each Quentic software module

Other Key Spring 2024 Release Highlights
- Inactive Rental Enhancements: Increase revenue with flexibility to configure rental charges for inactive, larger containers (e.g., Roll-Off). Suitable for both short term and seasonal hire, this feature incentivizes proper service activity to maximize margins.
- Duty of Care on Customer Portal: We've automated the Duty of Care process in line with UK regulations. Delivery, creation, and acceptance of obligatory documents are now simplified, reducing labour, and increasing compliance.
- New End of Day Payments Reconciliation (AR): A new report to reconcile received payments daily is now available, supporting more efficient financial management.
- Price Override Tolerance at Scale: Authorized users can change material purchase prices at the scale within a tolerance level. An email alert to the supervisor ensures appropriate oversight.
- Secondary Pricing Charging: Extend secondary charges to specific collection jobs, transparently included on invoices linked to job and service dates. This provides additional revenue and reduces invoicing queries, putting you in control.
