About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated M&A Associate/Analyst to join our growing team. Reporting directly to the Director Of Corporate Development, this individual will play a critical role in supporting the execution of our ambitious acquisition strategy. The role is well-suited to someone with early career experience in corporate finance, consulting, or accountancy who is eager to build a career in M&A within a high-growth SaaS environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head of M&A with deal execution, including due diligence coordination, preparation of analysis, and overall project management.

  • Manage timelines, meetings, and deliverables across internal stakeholders and external advisors.

  • Maintain and enrich the pipeline of new M&A opportunities, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.

  • Conduct desktop research on potential targets, market trends, and competitive landscapes.

  • Coordinate with investment banks, legal advisors, consultants, and other external parties as part of deal processes.

  • Support in drafting presentations, investment cases, and materials for internal decision-making.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years’ experience in one of the following:

- M&A or corporate finance teams within investment banks, boutique advisory firms, or Big 4 corporate finance teams (EY, PwC, Deloitte, KPMG).

- Strategy consulting roles.

- Transaction advisory roles.

  • Alternatively, 3-4 years in accountancy roles, with strong exposure to financial analysis.

  • Strong financial acumen, with the ability to interpret and analyse financial statements.

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated interest in M&A and corporate growth strategies.

  • Commercial judgement and the ability to think critically about opportunities.

  • High energy, self-motivated, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments.

  • A collaborative, team-oriented mindset.

Location & Working Style

Remote-based role, with flexibility to travel to Limerick from time to time.
