About the role:

AMCS is seeking to expand its offerings into the North American municipal waste and recycling sector. AMCS currently has hundreds of municipal customers across its product portfolio and has developed a range of solutions that fit municipal waste and recycling solutions: from fleet maintenance to a robust ERP product suite. AMCS is seeking an individual to join its enterprise team to focus exclusively on the municipal sector – ideally a candidate that is already intimately familiar with municipal waste and recycling operations in north America and someone who has led complex sales processes in this space.


About You:

  • You have direct experience selling software into municipal waste and recycling end markets

  • You have a demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding quota in a quota carrying position

  • You are comfortable “self-starting” and telling the business what you need from it in order to be successful

  • You know how to navigate complex buying dynamics in local government and can lead competitive pursuits

  • You have specific experience leading RFP pursuits and/or leveraging channel partners to effectively win deals in the public sector
