We’re looking for a commercially minded Business Development Manager to join our team and help drive growth across the GTM teams.
This role is about developing high-value opportunities, building relationships with strategic customers, and you will be instrumental in growing our pipeline, leading our go-to-market approach, and representing the AMCS brand across new and existing customers.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Pipeline Growth
Identify and approach prospective customers in target sectors
Understand customer drivers, assess fit, and evaluate the likelihood of conversion
Present AMCS as a solutions partner, considering the full product portfolio
Manage and convert a pipeline of qualified opportunities through CRM tracking (Salesforce)
Customer & Market Engagement
Represent AMCS at trade shows, events, and customer meetings
Actively gather and share insights on markets, customer behaviour, and competitor activity
Sales Conversion & Handover to Account Executives
Helps to shape the company’s long-term objectives and determine plans for how to meet them
Requirements
Degree-level education or equivalent business development experience in a technical environment (5 years)
Leadership, management, and mentoring skills
Lead generation and management experience
Proven track record in business development within software, engineering, or technical sales
Demonstrated success converting leads and growing a sales pipeline
Experience collaborating with marketing teams and shaping go-to-market strategies
Competence using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
