Launch of AMCS Platform for Metal
Building on the world’s leading recycling solution foundation of AMCS Platform, this Spring Release sees the realization of the AMCS Platform for Metal for the North American market.
Building on the world’s leading recycling solution foundation of AMCS Platform, this Spring Release sees the realization of the AMCS Platform for Metal for the North American market.
It represents a new generation cloud-based solution for scrap recyclers to automate all aspects of their operations including dispatch, scales, compliance, pricing and contract management, supplier portal, hauler portal, Inventory management, production, brokerage, sales, outbound logistics and finance.
It offers the first enterprise grade end to end solution of its type, while leveraging the power and flexibility of cloud technology and a modern browser based and intuitive user experience.
The solution will be formally launched at the ISRI convention in Las Vegas on the 22nd of March.
Overview of the AMCS Platform for Metal Modules
New embedded Cross Route Optimization Feature
This release sees the addition of new enhancements to our high automated Smart Dispatch module such as real- time monitoring of Roll-Off schedule progress using geo-fencing and a new automated cross route optimization service.
This release sees the addition of new enhancements to our high automated Smart Dispatch module such as real- time monitoring of Roll-Off schedule progress using geo-fencing and a new automated cross route optimization service.
The new cross route optimization service in Smart Dispatch is designed to fully automate the allocation of unplanned orders to round based routes. This new service can automatically assign daily unplanned orders, such as callouts and on demand orders, to the most appropriate route and sequence while respecting rules and constraints such as time windows.
This feature saves planning time, boosts truck utilization, reduces transport costs and associated emissions.

New Self – Serve Payment Channels – Offering choice and convenience
This release sees an extension in our digitalization features in areas such as customer self-serve on the portal as well as greater choice and convenience for customers to make payments.

AMCS Mobile Bill Presentment and IVR provide new self-service channels for customers (business or consumer) to access their account information and bills on digital channels and allow end customers pay for their bills securely and at their convenience on a 24/7 basis.
AMCS Mobile Bill Presentment is a service that provides a convenient, seamless bill presentment, notification and payments experience via the native Google or Apple wallet on end customers smartphones.
AMCS IVR is an automated interactive voice recording and payment service that provides an easy and convenient option for end customer to pay their utility bill by calling the operator’s automated payment service.
Superior Automation for Customer Service – Customer Status Management
This release sees the continuation of the transformation of the user experience and automation of key new workflows designed to ensure rapid user adoption, increased productivity, and great customer experiences.

An example of this is the new Customer Status Management process.
This allows the user to specify suspension and re-instatement dates for services at a customer and order level. These can be back and forward dated with the recording of reason codes and automatic calculation of financial adjustments. There is also an automated process for closing account and service locations.
This boosts staff productivity, reduces manual effort and errors, generates financial adjustments as necessary and the assignment of reason codes provide insights into the service suspension trends.
Increased Customer Self-Serve on enhanced Portals
Our new Metals Portal offers a pre-configured profile for metal recyclers to provide self-serve capabilities for their suppliers of scrap with full online visibility on all their sales. It contains new functionality for scrap suppliers to view billing and payment information.

This easy-to-use system allows convenient access (anywhere, anytime and on any device) to weight verification, scale tickets, bills and payment history, downgrades, reports, orders, scrap images and detailed account history.
Domestic customers can now self-manage, both set up and update their payment card and direct debit details on the portal.
Dutch Compliance Enhancements and Updates
New regulatory features and compliance updates for the Netherlands. These new features include RVO monthly electronic reporting submission on compost sales , two new Wasteflow Number enhancements as well as two additions to LMA reporting.
