Software success for TJ Waste & Recycling
TJ Waste & Recycling serves both commercial and domestic customers with a range of waste collection, recycling, and disposal solutions in the South East of the UK. The company operates a fleet of 23 skip vehicles as well as a network of strategically located Materials Recovery Facilities equipped to recycle up to 100% of the waste received.
TJ Waste and AMCS have worked together to develop a fully automated and paperless system from the point of order through to invoice. It also greatly enhances the customer experience with the provision of a customer portal to move a significant degree of aftersales service and support online. Customers can now access their account information including copy tickets, invoices, service and materials management data in real-time from any location.
The system has delivered a number of operational, commercial, and environmental benefits. These include a reduction in wasted journeys, fleet mileage, fuel, and emissions. It has also increased the capacity of the skip fleet by 0.8 jobs per day per vehicle.
