AMCS has been named as a finalist in the prestigious National Recycling Awards with the company’s market-leading FEL Weigh system shortlisted in the Innovation of the Year (Equipment) category.
The award recognizes equipment manufacturers operating in the UK or the Republic of Ireland who have created innovative solutions that make waste and recycling operations more effective and efficient.
The unique design of the AMCS FEL Weigh product provides customers with a highly cost-effective and accurate way to realize the commercial and operational benefits of on-board weighing. The system, which is based on the latest extensometer technology, can be installed for as little as 50% of the cost of a traditional load cell-based system.
This improved performance and affordability mean that the benefits of on-board weighing can now be realized by all operators, irrespective of size, enabling them to both improve profitability and better manage the material they handle.
Winners will be announced on 6 July 2016 at a ceremony attended by over 700 industry professionals at the London Hilton on Park Lane.
