The Contract Operations Team works to create predictable revenue by streamlining the sales process with best practices. It deals with revenue assurance (conversions; end-of-live conversions; audits) and works with Sales Ops and Legal to drive systematic improvements. The team identifies key gaps in talent, tools, technology and processes and delivers a strategy to the sales organization/enablement leader to bridge those gaps.
Key Responsibilities
Partnering with Sales, Legal and Finance department to ensure all open opportunities progress to close following all the necessary reviews and approvals.
Working within the Finance Team responsible for the management of Customer Contracts, Projects and Billings to guarantee that proposals presented to the customers are transactable and that all subs are created accordingly.
Align contract operations to the sales strategy.
Support Sales on opportunities between 50-100% stages to guarantee timely recognisable revenue.
Identify gaps in processes and proactively liaise with necessary departments to bridge those gaps.
Work with Sales Operations to build controls and process for opportunities greater than 50% - approvals, revisions, etc.
Limit addendums required.
Oversee business processes and engage continuous improvement to align with growth and company strategy.
Analyse data to identify areas of improvement.
Responding to internal and external customer queries and escalating as required.
Active involvement in projects as required across the various finance functions.
Help onboard and train team members.
Support company’s growth (ie. acquisitions)
Desired Skills and Experience
3+ years’ experience in a busy financial environment or in an operational role.
Comfortable with Microsoft Excel (intermediate level data needed).
Exposure and experience using Financial ERP’s; NetSuite, Salesforce, Oracle, SAP etc
Be self-motivated and highly organised, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise work.
Experience navigating complexity and ambiguity with ease.
Experience analysing and synthesizing data from multiple sources.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Essential to have hands-on approach and be willing to deal with any task.
