Role Overview
As a (Senior) Pre-Sales Consultant for EHS & ESG solutions, you will act as technical and domain co-owner of complex customer opportunities across the entire enterprise SaaS sales cycle.
Operating at the intersection of technology, sustainability and customer business objectives, you will support Account Executives in shaping buying decisions by translating regulatory and operational EHS/ESG requirements into structured solution approaches and measurable business outcomes.
You will contribute to opportunity qualification, value-based positioning and technical win strategy to reduce implementation risk and support customer investment decisions.
Responsibilities
Act as technical co-owner of EHS/ESG opportunities in partnership with Account Executives.
Lead technical discovery to identify customer decision drivers and implementation risks.
Translate EHS/ESG regulatory requirements into business-relevant solution hypotheses.
Support enterprise deal qualification through technical validation of feasibility and scope.
Design and deliver outcome-driven demonstrations aligned with business value.
Support technical win strategy including architecture positioning.
Contribute to business case development within value-based selling approaches.
Support PoCs and pilots as structured validation mechanisms.
Enable customer champions with technical justification materials.
Ensure structured technical handover to delivery teams post-sale.
Profile
7+ years experience in SaaS Pre-Sales or Solution Consulting.
Experience supporting enterprise software buying processes.
Understanding of EHS operational processes and/or ESG frameworks (e.g. CSRD).
Ability to connect technical solution design with commercial impact.
Familiarity with enterprise IT landscapes and integrations.
Experience working with deal qualification methodologies (e.g. MEDDPICC).
Strong stakeholder engagement skills up to Director level.
Nice to Have
Sustainability reporting experience (e.g. double materiality).
BI / Reporting tools (e.g. Power BI).
AI Skills / CoPilot, Claude
CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce).
