Limerick, Ireland – Dec 18, 2025 AMCS, the global leader in Performance Sustainability, announced the availability of Code Key 25 within AMCS Fleet Maintenance. Beginning now, customers can use this new standardized set of maintenance codes to improve service accuracy and reduce downtime. AMCS is the first to bring this capability to market, giving fleet operators a practical way to move from scheduled maintenance to predictive maintenance.
Code Key 25 was developed by the Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC) after three years of collaboration with manufacturers, fleets, and technology providers. It creates a common digital language for maintenance and repair actions, driven by predictive and prognostic data. Instead of relying on fixed schedules, fleets can now perform maintenance based on real-time conditions.
For AMCS customers, this means fewer unnecessary repairs, lower costs, and better uptime. Maintenance is performed only when needed, reducing waste and extending component life. The codes will appear as drop-down options in the Fleet Maintenance system, making them easy to use for existing vehicles. For 2027 models, predictive maintenance alerts will flow directly from OEM telematics into AMCS Fleet Maintenance, creating work requests automatically.
More value from AMCS Fleet Maintenance
AMCS Fleet Maintenance already helps operators manage inspections, track inventory, and integrate telematics data. With Code Key 25, the platform now delivers even greater control and confidence. Fleets can act on precise service instructions, prevent breakdowns, and keep vehicles on the road longer. This approach supports sustainability goals by reducing unnecessary part replacements and minimizing waste.
“Code Key 25 changes how fleets think about maintenance,” said John Davis, Head of Delivery-Fleet Maintenance at AMCS. “It’s about precision. You do the right work at the right time, not too early and never too late. That saves fleet operators money, prevents breakdowns, and supports sustainability.”
Participating fleets include Ryder, Penske, and Werner Enterprises. OEMs such as Freightliner, Peterbilt, and Volvo are also on board, along with engine makers like Cummins and Detroit.
Customers can start using Code Key 25 today by accessing the new codes in the AMCS Fleet Maintenance drop-down menus. Visit AMCS Fleet Maintenance to see how the platform connects data, simplifies workflows, and now adds predictive maintenance with Code Key 25.
