We are seeking a skilled Junior or Senior Power BI Analyst to join our Analytics team, with a particular focus on Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) metrics.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing dashboards that help our customers leverage data-driven insights for optimisation and decision-making in EHS and ESG areas. You will collaborate closely with customer stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and deliver actionable insights through data visualisation.
Key Responsibilities
Managing projects with customers.
Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Apache Superset or Power BI focused on EHS and ESG performance metrics.
Collaborate with the customer ́s EHS and ESG teams to gather requirements and understand specific data needs for compliance, reporting, and sustainability initiatives.
Work with our ESG & EHS data models to create dashboards customised for our customers in Apache Superset or Power BI.
Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reports and dashboards, particularly in relation to EHS compliance and ESG disclosures.
Train and support end-users in the use of our Analytics solutions
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in business intelligence technologies, especially those related to EHS and ESG reporting.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Business Administration or a related educational training or experience from another context.
Junior: first experience in an internship or as a working student in a data analysis or reporting role in customer contact with specific experience using Power BI.
OR
Senior: 2+ years of experience in a data analysis or reporting role with customer interaction including project management. Specific experience using in Apache Superset and Power BI are a plus.
Experience in data modelling, DAX language and Power Query.
Strong analytical skills and experience in data analysis and visualisation.
Junior: Basic understanding of SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
OR
Senior: Proficient understanding of SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
Familiarity with databases (SQL Server, Maria DB etc.) and data warehousing concepts.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Desirable Qualifications
Knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) metrics and related reporting requirements. (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD).
Knowledge of statistical analysis and data mining techniques.
Experience with other BI tools (Apache Superset, Sisense, etc.)
