About the Role

As a Data Warehouse Engineer, you will build and maintain the data foundation that enables reliable reporting, analytics and business decision-making across the organisation. Your core data engineering work will focus on designing data warehouse structures and data models, developing and optimising data pipelines and ELT processes, and ensuring accurate, consistent and well-documented data. On the BI side, the ability to support reliable reporting and analytics through trusted datasets and semantic models, and to help improve reporting processes and BI performance, is nice to have. You will work closely with stakeholders, analysts and technical teams to translate business questions into scalable data solutions and continuously improve our data warehouse environment. Based in the Philippines and working from 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM local time in Cebu, you will ensure a daily 4-hour overlap with Germany from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM CET.


Your Responsibilities

  • Design, build and maintain data warehouse structures, semantic models and trusted datasets as a reliable single source of truth.

  • Develop and optimise data pipelines, ELT processes and automated data transformations for business-critical reporting.

  • Ensure data quality, consistency, documentation, lineage and appropriate access controls across reporting and analytics solutions.

  • Monitor, troubleshoot and continuously improve reporting processes, data pipelines and BI performance.

  • Contribute ideas for modern BI, analytics and data engineering practices in an international technology environment.

  • Use AI tools thoughtfully in daily work to improve quality, efficiency, and outcomes, while applying strong judgment, verification, and full ownership of the final result.

Your Profile

  • 2+ years of experience in data engineering, business intelligence, analytics engineering, data warehousing or a similar data-focused role.

  • Very good SQL skills and hands-on experience with data modelling, data warehouses or BI platforms.

  • Basic experience with ETL / ELT processes, data pipelines and transformation tools such as dbt is an advantage.

  • High quality standards regarding data accuracy, consistency, governance and access control.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, documentation-oriented mindset.

  • Professional English proficiency and the ability to communicate clearly with international stakeholders.

  • You are confident using AI tools in a professional context, can guide and review AI-generated outputs critically, and take responsibility for the quality and accuracy of your work.

  • Nice to have experience creating dashboards and reports in Power BI, Tableau, Looker or a comparable BI tool.
