AMCS to support development of Circular Economy
AMCS, the world’s leading supplier of software and technology to the waste, recycling and environmental services sector, has become the latest Supporter of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Corporate Citizenship Center and Circular Economy & Sustainability program.
Supporting the Corporate Citizenship Center will provide AMCS with a forum in which to network and collaborate with companies that are passionate about sustainability, reuse and responsible business practices. With companies from a wide range of sectors as well as Government and NGOs, this unique program represents some of the best thinking and most active application of ideas for sustainable and circular business models.
AMCS President North America, Michael Winton commented: “CCC and the Circular Economy and Sustainability program aligns with AMCS’s priority to make the world a cleaner place. We are making a multi-faceted commitment to support the program with our resources and expertise. Technology and digital innovation is a critical enabler for many elements of the circular economy value chain to help these business models be successful in the U.S.”
U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation Senior Director of Circular Economy and Sustainability, Jennifer Gerholdt commented: “Organizations of all sizes and from all sectors will need to work together for us to achieve a circular economy in the United States. We’re excited to work with AMCS to help make the circular economy a reality.”
