I have been working with AMCS since 2012. As a Marketing Manager in Northern Europe, I am responsible for making the marketing plans within the region across all AMCS products and solutions. We plan and execute marketing campaigns, events, PR, etc. in coordination with the sales groups in each country. In addition to regional marketing, I am also involved in interesting group marketing initiatives – currently as a marketing product manager in a marketing automation implementation project.
AMCS is a company in rapid growth with exciting, global initiatives and I appreciate being continuously presented with opportunities to develop my marketing skills and expand my areas of responsibility.
At the office here in Copenhagen, the atmosphere is relaxed and informal, and I like coming to work and be surrounded by friendly and helpful colleagues. We often socialize outside of work and I think it says a lot about a company when employees enjoy each other’s company outside of work.

10 years ago, I started working with route optimization at AMCS Routing. I joined the company as a student helper during university (Danish Technical University) and once I had finished my degree, AMCS Routing offered me an interesting full-time position.
The cooperation with the Danish Technical University regarding route optimization has always been important, driving innovation into the AMCS Routing division. As a product engineer, working with cutting-edge technologies and software applications inspires me. Our clients constantly require a high degree of innovation and as a part of an ambitious, global company we are able to meet these requirements.
Here at AMCS Routing, the employees have always been very social and your co-workers easily become close friends. With the growth of AMCS, we have the opportunity to make new friends across the world.
Ken Tierney, Vehicle Technologies Product Manager, Ireland
I began working at AMCS Group in 2009, initially as a Hardware Engineer. In 2010, I took up the role of support center manager, managing a team of 10 support engineers, who supported our European customer base.
In 2011, I also took on the management of the service teams for Ireland and the UK. This provided me with a in-depth knowledge of how our customers used our vehicle based technologies to improve their business. This knowledge has helped me in my role as product manager for AMCS Vehicle Technologies, which I took up in 2015.
As a product group, working closely with the development team, we are constantly improving and developing the technology we deliver, year after year. It is amazing to see the results of that evolution. We have come a long way. Even as part of a larger multinational, our close team dynamics have remained whether we were working at Limerick office or further afield.

I began my career in the waste industry in 2008 and quickly found out how important quality software is needed to successfully run a waste company on a day-to-day basis. For 6+ years I supported AMCS’ software before joining the company a year ago.
From day one I was put in a position where I was in charge of the roll-out of our Mobile and Sales products. In addition to managing these products, I also manage the relationship with 15 clients as their Project Manager. In my short time with AMCS, I have experienced tremendous technical growth as well as product and business knowledge. I joined AMCS straight after graduation back in 2013. I’ll always remember arriving on my first day in a suit and tie only to find out I was the only developer in one! What I found that day was a relaxed office environment where trust, input and ownership are paramount. You are given high-level requirements and it is down to you to design and deliver the solution. This could involve the entire Microsoft technology stack from SQLServer to C# and MVC or even researching new emerging technologies.
AMCS has a wide ranging product domain which provides us developers with plenty of diverse work opportunities. In my three years, I have worked on massive N-Tier .Net Enterprise Systems, learned cutting-edge web technologies on our web portals, presented at university career fairs and trained new graduate developers.
