Webinar: Global Recycling Trends – Navigating Challenges and Seizing Opportunities
The global recycling industry is facing a rapidly changing world shaped by larger mega trends including climate change, the move to decarbonization, critical raw material shortages, technology disruptions and shifting trade regulations. What does this mean for the future of the recycled materials industry? How might these forces shape the business environment in which scrap metal, fiber and plastic are traded? What implications has this for the recycling sector?
AMCS is delighted to welcome Vikram Mansharamani, global trend-watcher, academic and author, as the keynote speaker for the first AMCS Inspire Webinar about Trends in the Global Recycling Market. Vikram has recently written a report entitled ‘Global Trends & Implications for Recyclers' for the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI). The report surveys possible future scenarios for the global recycling industry and examines approaches to navigate the uncertainties and seize the opportunities. Vikram draws on research carried out by his team who engaged with leading players in the global recycling industry. This Webinar will present and discuss:
What are the trends shaping the global recycling industry?
How might these trends impact the business of global recyclers in terms of disruption and opportunities?
What are the range of possible implications for this change and how can recyclers navigate these future risks and opportunities?
The AMCS Inspire Series is designed to provide attendees with insights, inspiration, and ideas for innovation by providing a forum for thought leaders and attendees to share their experiences and ideas.
