The role 

We have a very exciting opportunity for an OR Analyst to join the AMCS Transport Management Solution (TMS) product team, working to improve our optimisation model by utilising modern technologies such as Machine Learning and IOT data intake to continuously improve the models parameters, such as average road speed velocities, handling times, metaheuristic parameters.

Our optimisation software is developed for managing two disciplines:

· Static Optimisation for Strategic Planning

· Dynamic Optimisation for Operational and Realtime Planning

We run a general data model with heuristic planning algorithms, which output relies on the input and boundary parameters. We want your help to build this feedback loop as part of the product and build CI for ensuring performance and quality, parameter defaults within various lines of business.

What We Offer

You will be part of our product management group in AMCS TMS. Here you will be involved in delivering advanced planning and control solutions for our customers. The AMCS routing solutions are very complex software packages based on advanced optimization algorithms and state of the art software technology. As the solutions are mission critical to our customers, it requires the highest degree of skills and dedication of the implementation team.

Who Do We Seek?

We need people with:

· Strong analytical skills – preferably knowledge and/or experience within operations research

· Microsoft IT flair and light OO programming experience.

· Motivation for understanding customer operations and identifying synergies to further products advancements.

You must have a bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, mathematics, or computer science and be fluent in both written and spoken English
