We have an exciting opportunity for a Credit Control Manager, you will be reporting into the Commercial Operations Manager. You will be responsible for the support, development and execution of the AR strategy within the AMCS global organisation. Working with Contracts Team, Finance Team and Regional Leads, Customer Success and Sales Teams to identify, prioritise and implement process control and policy improvement. In addition, you will develop, manage and drive automated metrics/scorecards for operational excellence and continued process improvement.
Ø Responsible for managing the Global AR Team and working closely with regional Finance Partners and other managers to achieve company strategic objectives
Ø Responsible for the credit approval process, including periodic credit reviews of existing customers, and the assessment of the creditworthiness of potential customers
Ø Provide direction or directly resolves customer credit or collection issues
Ø Manage escalated collection issues both internally and with the customers in a timely and effective manner to expedite the billing and collection of accounts receivable
Ø Liaise with legal counsel where applicable
Ø Manage all reporting activity to the Senior Leadership Team
Ø Working with key groups within the organisation to ensure the AR strategy is aligned with global processes
Ø Monitor debtor balances to ensure continuous improvement debtors DSO
Ø Manage aged debt balance sheet provision
Ø Strong influence and leadership skills will be required together with excellent communication, interpersonal and numeric / problem solving skills
Ø In terms of traits, you will need to be a resilient character, who is able to have difficult conversations in a professional manner, whilst maintaining good relationships
Ø 5+ years in a Credit Control leadership position working with a multinational fast paced organisation
Ø Experience of software sales in a SaaS environment is an advantage
